Daily Activities



The Animation Program is based in active aging and activities are oriented to reach this purpose. Mainly we divide the activites in two categories
•1-Cultural Activities
•Computer course:
This is a great opportunity to learn and to familiarize with one of the most important ways of communications of the present days.This way of communication is widely used in our actual society. There will be daily courses explaning in a simple and practical way the main concepts and terms of informátic programs and the use of the computer, a machine that nowdays is indispensable.
•Memory training course:
The purpose of this course as the name indicates is for memory training. This course is a fun brain trainer programm usefull for those people which not necessarily have serious memory problems.
•Laughter Therapy:
Laugh and sense of humor are very important tools not only to improve the self- esteem and mental health of our seniors but also to maintain their good emotional and physical conditions. The use of different games, visualizing funny situations, controlling the breathing, laughing, etc will create a nice group atmosphere and give to the group in general and to a person in particular great benefits and will also firm up the immune system and mental health.
•Manuality courses:
These courses are done to improve the artistic creativity of the person in particular as well as the creativity of the whole group.
•Dance Courses:
This is one of the activities more used by senior citizens, as this a very healthy one. Using dance steps,our seniors are making small exercises that help them to maintain good physical and mental shape.
•Cultural Courses:
Through the last past years we have seen the high interest and acceptance that our seniors have for dicussions regarding issues of general interest. Therefore we include these “chats” as part of Social Tourism.
•2. Sport Activities:
The concept of active seniors, healthy and pleased with themself has to include sport and physical activities. This is indispensable to maintain their physical and mental wellness, and at the same time this is an effective way to prevent illnesses.
•Gymnastics exercises:
Exercises of flexibility, relaxation, body balance to maintain the body in good shape
•Tai-Chi:
The practice of this activity benefits the mental and physical health, doing relaxing movements in armony with a respiration and mental concentration in a way that improve exercise without having any risk.
•Walks:
This a very frequent daily exercise among seniors to maintain good heart condition and improve blood circulation. If this exercise is a sand walk along the beach the improvement is even bigger.
