The coast of Malaga is a perfect example of harmony between tourism development, culture and history. The visitor will find, in addition to excellent sandy beaches and a truly Mediterranean climate, a wide range of cultural and leisure activities. History

20,000 years of human history are based in the coast of Malaga. Since the Paleolithic era, different civilizations have left their mark on these lands, with examples as old as the Caves of the sink or Doña Trinidad, with paintings of more than fifteen thousand years. The Phoenicians left, from the seventh century a. C. an important legacy (see Toscanos deposit). With the Romans, this land went through a second best, with an active commercial life and leisure, as the Roman theater in Málaga and Acinipo (Round). However, it was the Muslims who forever changed the face of Malaga, shaping and molding their people with their culture such depths that even today we see this legacy in the architecture or language, and in the cuisine. Later, the Reconquista, also begins a period linked to artistic and cultural developments of Europe, highlighting the Baroque period as the most fruitful. Already in the twentieth century, the consolidation of Malaga as a world tourist destination forever transformed their towns, cities and people.

Gastronomy

The gastronomy of Malaga is one of the finest in the Mediterranean and is always headed by the famous' tapas', head of an unforgettable banquet. 'Fried fish', gazpacho, squid, shrimp, porra ... whatever. All made from the rich orchards and the best local seafood products. Do not forget that all the dishes breathe the aroma of Andalusian olive oil, one of the best in the world. Among the hot dishes, highlights the pot, crumbs, monkfish with potatoes, rice to seafood, sardines in bowl, and so on. In the interior, dishes made from pork are insurmountable. The pastries, sweets such as those held borrachuelos or roscos and cake, are overwhelming. It hosts one of the many sweet wines of the region, with excellent quality. You can only go to Malaga for its gastronomy, the success will be for sure.

There are many possibilities for all tastes, ages and trends. In Ronda, the Serrania of the same name, the path to the bandits of refuge, the cathedral, the old quarter, the Bandolero's Museum, the Museum of Bullfighting and the bullring, for lovers of this art.
